Mommy's Helper Day Training Add-On

Service Description

This day training add-on is available for all* clients currently using any of our training programs and can be added intermittently as needed. It is not limited to Family clients. Day training is a great low-budget alternative to board & train for dogs (and their owners) who need extra help, but do not need to be removed entirely from their home** during the training process. Our trainer will come to your home to work directly with your dog twice a week for 45 minutes each visit for every week that you purchase. During these sessions, we will work on improving your dog's previously learned skills and/or teach new skills ahead of our in-person or Zoom sessions where we will work directly with you. Day training sessions may also be used as training walks. You will receive video clips of our session and notes regarding what we covered during each session. For homes with multiple dogs, your dogs must be comfortable being crated, gated, tethered, or kept in another room or yard so that each dog can be worked with individually. Alternatively, when appropriate, the first few day training sessions may be spent primarily on station training so that the dogs can wait their turns without needing physical restraint/separation. *This service is available for clients within a 10 mile radius of 92704. This service area may be extended for a travel fee if our schedule allows. **This service can also be used for dogs staying with a friend or family member temporarily while acclimating to life with a new baby, adapting to life with a newly mobile baby or fast-moving toddler, or adjusting to the addition of a new dog.
