Service Description

Custom lesson plans are best for dogs & their humans who have very particular needs. Perhaps your dog isn't welcoming towards the new furry four-legged family member, you have a unique living situation, or you need help with behaviors unrelated to reactivity* (such as resource guarding or intense hyperactivity). After completing your Initial Consultation and recorded video program, we will agree to a custom training plan and determine how many months it will take to accomplish our goals. For every month you sign up for, you will receive 1 hour of "live time" (in-person or Zoom session) and unlimited follow-ups through text, call, email, and shared videos. Live sessions may be scheduled as often as every other week until completed, and you retain your unlimited follow-ups for the entirety of the 6 months in order to help you maximize your skills and deal with the many ups and downs that can occur during the training process. For example, a 6 month package may have 5 of the live sessions completed within the first 3 months, and the 6th live session may be completed in the 5th or 6th month, with unlimited follow-ups throughout the 6 months. 6 months after completing your package, we will do a 30 minute Zoom call to see if any adjustments need to be made or if your dog is ready to further improve any skills. You will receive detailed homework documents and videos to help you practice between live sessions, as well as the recordings of all Zoom sessions. Each client has a shared Google Doc for notes specific to you where you can also add your own notes/observations and questions for us. You are to share videos of your practice through Google Drive or Google Photos and you will receive timestamped feedback to help you see what we see, make timely adjustments, and keep you on track. Sharing videos with us is not just a bonus; it is critical to your success!
