Calm for Your Canine Consultation

Service Description

This 1.5 to 2 hour consultation is the first step for those that need (or want) more help with their dogs. Issues that can be addressed may include reactivity on walks; assimilation with new pets; over-arousal issues such as chasing, mouthing, and mounting; handling sensitivity and vet/groomer fears; resource guarding; issues with house guests; and other fear, anxiety, or aggression-related behaviors.* After you fill out our New Client Profile, you will receive a custom training plan and we'll get you scheduled for your Consultation on Zoom. Before our Zoom session, you will receive The Dial MethodTM video program (a $50 value). During our consultation, we will cover dog body language and stress signs at length to make sure you truly understand your dog. We will discuss any potential safety issues in the home and how to fix them with simple and thoughtful changes. We will also consider any potential health issues, breed tendencies, and unmet needs that may be contributing to unwanted behaviors. Finally, we will go over your custom training plan, make adjustments as needed, and determine how many months of our Calm for Your Canine Monthly Membership it will take to accomplish our goals. There, we'll get to the root of any problems, use simple & effective changes, and provide ample support to set both you and your dog up for success. *Calmer Canines refers out for cases of Separation Anxiety or Isolation Distress.
