Are We Ready for a Dog? Coaching

Service Description

This pre-dog Zoom session helps you determine what breed type(s) and age range will likely fit best with your family’s lifestyle and preferences. Typical training, exercise, feeding, and grooming requirements will be discussed, as well as how to fit a dog into your home and your current schedule, and where to get a dog who fits your needs and wants (breeder versus rescue/foster group versus shelter). During our session, we will review breeder websites and their social media sites, go over a list of questions to ask them. Alternatively, we will search for dogs on adoption websites such as PetFinder.com and review dog profiles together as well as go over a list of questions to ask the rescue. We will remain available for any questions you may have for us after the coaching session as well. $25 of the cost of this session may be credited toward any training package once you find the right dog for your family.
